 Steve Coupe is a native of Ilion and has worked for the Carbone family for over 20 years, starting as a parts delivery person at Carbone Pontiac. Eventually, he became the company’s chief operating officer overseeing its 19 auto, truck and motorcycle franchises. In 2000, he came to the Harley-Davidson of Utica store to temporarily fill a vacancy in the general manager’s position until a replacement could be found. Within a month, Steve was hooked and he became the replacement GM.
Steve is a graduate of Herkimer County Community College and SUNY Utica-Rome where he earned degrees in business and finance and later received his MBA from Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management. He is active in the community and has served as a trustee of the Oneida BOCES Occupational Education Advisory Council, the Oneida County Historical Society and the Mohawk Valley Chamber of Commerce. He is currently a trustee of the Mohawk Valley Community College Foundation and has served as a member of the Board of Education in Ilion since 1997.

| Elaine Brunet is a native of Utica and has been with Harley-Davidson of Utica since 1992 when it was still in a little corner of the Don’s Ford service & parts department. Then, the staff numbered about 5 people and everyone did a little bit of everything. As Harley-Davidson of Utica grew, Elaine gradually focused more and more on the sales end. When we first moved into a separate facility in 1993, Elaine managed the sales department of which she was the only employee. Today, Elaine helps our customers with their motorcycle financing needs as well as our specialized programs for extended service plans, motorcycle insurance and most important of all, vehicle delivery. | Lori Patterson was born and raised in the Kuyahoora Valley just north of Utica. She joined the Carbone organization in 1990 as a title clerk in the company’s Dodge dealership. She left briefly and spent some time in the Carolinas before returning to Central NY and again joining the Carbone family as group supervisor. In June, 2002 she joined the Harley-Davidson of Utica team as parts & accessories manager. Shortly after Lori joined our team, the dealership moved into its present facility. Lori was instrumental in organizing the move so that every piece of our inventory of nearly 50,000 pieces of parts, accessories, clothing and gifts got to its designated home in the new store. Today, Lori works to make sure we have what you need when you need it whether it’s some new chrome for the bike or new riding gear for you.

| Bill Slater is our motorcycle sales manager. A native of Utica, Bill worked at Carbone Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep in Boonville before joining our team in January, 2006. He achieved Gold level sales certification from Chrysler in 1997 and maintained a customer satisfaction rating of 96% or higher ever since. Shortly after joining the H-D of Utica team, Bill helped our sales team to achieve 3 record breaking bike sales months in a row. Bill oversees our sales team and the ordering of new bikes so we can have the bike you are dreaming of. On those rare occasions that Bill is not working or enjoying a ride on his thoroughly chromed 2001 Road King® Classic, you may find him playing a round of golf or shooting clays.
